Meet your Yoga Therapist
I am Dr. Chanda Jain, the heart behind Nirvan Yoga. My journey into yoga began as something deeply personal. It started as a way to heal, to steady myself, and to find balance when life felt heavy. Over time, it became more than a practice. It became a way of living, a way of returning to myself.
My approach is rooted in breath, mindfulness, and compassionate movement. I do not teach yoga as a performance. I teach it as a space to slow down, listen inward, and build a calmer relationship with your body and mind. I believe yoga should feel accessible and supportive, especially when you are stressed, overwhelmed, or simply trying to feel like yourself again.
At Nirvan Yoga, I invite you to come as you are. We move with intention, we breathe with awareness, and we create room for stillness. This is not about how a pose looks. It is about how it feels and what it brings back to you.
My Journey
-
Yoga is not only asana, pranayama, or dhyana. Yoga is awareness.
When you become aware of your posture, your breath, your thoughts, and even your food, you begin to live yoga in its true form.
At Nirvan Yoga, I teach a complete holistic life approach rooted in the eight limbs of yoga. My work blends traditional yogic wisdom with scientific understanding, so that practice moves beyond the mat and into daily living.
My teaching is grounded in alignment, guided by science, and strengthened through mindful mastery. I believe yoga must extend beyond a class setting and become a way of living with clarity and consciousness.
I do not only guide movement. I guide awareness.
-
My journey has never been only professional. It is deeply personal.
I am a mother of two sons, a wife, a daughter, a sister and a woman who has balanced home, study, and sadhana with dedication and faith.
Completing my Master’s and PhD in Yogic Science and Meditation was not just an academic achievement…it was a lived discipline that shaped my character and commitment. I believe education has no age limit and growth has no timeline.
I believe in karma, in service, and in giving back to the community. I believe healing must include the body, mind, energy, and soul.
My work as a Chakra Coach and Aura Healer reflects my understanding that mental wellness and spiritual awareness are not separate paths but part of the same journey.
-
My journey began long before Nirvan Yoga was founded.
From completing my M.Sc. in Ashtanga Yoga to pursuing my PhD in Yogic Science and Meditation, my path has always been guided by one intention: to bring ancient yoga into modern life in a practical and accessible way.
I have conducted workshops on mental wellness, meditation, cyclic meditation, stress management, back pain therapy, and holistic health. I have worked with schools, communities, and individuals across cultures and backgrounds.
Beyond titles and recognition, I remain a lifelong student of yoga. For me, yoga is the journey of the self, through the self, to the Self.
